So, let's get it back up to nearly 800 and keep them all active!

Thanks for all you support and your tolerance for your leader that doesn't do much leading any more. Tired Tired Tired!!

I did just have my 4 year post echo (4.5 years actually) and my mechanical aortic St. Jude valve is still in perfect placement with the same amount of leakage it had 4 years ago! Yeeaaa!!!

Good news about YOU, Hank

Good news about YOU, Hank

Hi Hank-

Glad to hear your good report. You don't post much about yourself. So it's just wonderful that things are "no change" status.

Hank,
Great news on the "No Change" status!

I do hope the leakage it does have is insignificant. Great to hear that all is well on the Western front. I hope mine comes back with the same type of result and NOTHING new. :)

Hank, Glad to hear there's no change. As they say no news is good news, right?? You're still a wonderful leader, Keep up the great work. Thank you and God Bless!

Hank - Glad to hear of the "no change" report. Keep up the good work and try to cut those work hours a little bit. Smelling roses, and watching sunsets is important too.

Hey Hank,
Great to hear your Good News and thanks for the Great Site. Take Care.

Great News

Great News

Glad you had great report on the echo!

I also wanted to thank you for this site! It seems to have been a life line to many of us here, me included. So many thanks!

Take care,

Woo hoo. Another great check up! Congratulations Hank. I was not aware you had a minor leak. Guess we are in the same club. Les and a few others as well. All doing great.

My para-valvular leak was noted a few months after sugery. Like yourself, it has remained stable. Going on 4-1/2 here as well.
At times it does not show on the echo. They say scar tissue may have grown over the area.

As I am sure that is the case with you. Nobody I know can work 12 hour days with a bummer heart. Your fine. I truly feel we will know when and if the time comes. I have too much energy to have anything wrong with me at this point. Lets keep up the good work!!! if all else fails we still have each other.
:)

Hello Hank,

I'm really pleased to hear of your continued health and stability. It gives folks like me, waiting for surgery, the hope that things can go back to some degree of normalcy for long periods of time. May you have many more "No Change" reports to share.

On the idea of sharing, thank you for having the vision to create a site like VR.com, and for all the effort you put into making it a reality. Even if most of your time here lately is reading, the work you've invested already continues to support hundreds of others.

Thanks, Hank.

Details on my "Leak"

Details on my "Leak"

Actually, we all have leakage. There is no valve that seals completely. Even the ones God gave me. They say that my leakage is the same as any normal non-mechanical valve. The fact that it remains the same means that the valve is actually working perfectly.

Thanks for the kind responses.
