Hello all,

I just wanted to share this with my fellow heart patients. Last Saturday, after getting clearance from my cardiologist, I was able to summon up the courage and accomplish something I wanted to do for quite some time: I jumped out of an airplane!!

For the longest time I wanted to check skydiving off the Things-To-Do-In-Life list and since I am coming up on my 40th birthday I especially wanted to do it before then. So I did it. I won't get in to the details of my jump since I am sure others on this site have done it as well, either both or after surgery (or both), but, at the risk of sounding cliche, it was a real rush.

So if you are like me, wanting to do it but feel a bit skittish, if you get medical clearance I definitely recommend it.

Happy Living.

John

nope, you are the first! If others have, nobody said anything about it.

This is really an awesome accomplishment. And you've done it w/your cardio's blessins.

Congratulations. Any pictures? We are proud of you.

Wow! I don't know if that makes you Crazy or Brave or a bit of Both;)

What an amazing feat! Congrats on the courage to fulfill one of your dreams and for not letting OHS stop you!!
