"The Island"

Has anyone seen it? I did and thought it was the best SciFi film I've seen for awhile. There are flaws, but the film satisfies in two ways. There are some interesting ideas combined with action (some of the BEST car chase/crash scenes I've ever seen, there's a pun there) and the plot is thought provoking too. Will

I watched one of the trailers and it showed a chase scene where they were on a flatbed semi loaded with railroad wheelsets. I spent a summer unloading those from semis. I thought, I've got to see this movie!

Yea, that was the scene that took me away.

I just finished reading Hart's War - so son rented the movie and we watched it. You can both read the book and watch the movie. Two different stories!!!! don't you hate that.
