The size of your son's aneurysm and how quickly it has grown make me very glad that his surgery is coming very soon. Reading the information about him in your profile, he has the characteristics that are sometimes found among the variations of bicuspid aortic valve disease (BAVD) - malformed aortic valve leaflets, ascending aortic aneurysm, and even the WPW.

In all that you will both experience in the next few days, all the choices and decisions now and in the future, above all you are choosing life and defeating the aneurysm which threatens him very seriously right now.
