Thanks be to Ross!

I was just perusing the new threads and noted all the little add-ons most of us have. And the pictures some of us share. I have wondered how many have enlisted Ross' help in doing some of this stuff. I know that I have called on him numerous times to HELP! He always does and without complaint, tries to instruct me on how to do it myself (sometimes I get it, ofttimes, I don't).

He always has some fun stuff to tell us, prod us when needed - and he even puts in serious things from time to time.

Ross monitors the baddies and keeps them away from us. Many of us remember that one morning as we checked in and found all sorts of nasty stuff - which disappeared quickly from the site. That's when Hank gave us a MODERATOR - fancy name, huh? And moderate. Ross does. I am very glad we have him amongst us, aren't you?

I agree with everything you said. Ross has spent a good amount of time helping undo the damage done by all kinds of spam and pop-up programs to my computer. He has helped me with all I know about posting pictures and images, and considering I started out knowing NOTHING! that was a miracle in and of itself.

Just kidding buddy! I've been to many online forums and this is one of the few where the moderator doesn't have put out "flames" on a daily basis. We all know if we get out of line we have to deal with a "heavily medicated sheriff".

Ross is truly a miracle guy. He's survived the MOST difficult and life-threatening situations, continues to battle with his very compromised health each day, and manages to keep his sense of humor and intelligence intact.

This site is one of the best run ones in the medical field on the Net, largely due to Ross's diligence and abilities. It's not an easy task to keep this diverse group of folks all headed more or less in the same direction and keep the "spoilers" away from us. I'm sure it requires more effort than we'll ever know.

I was waiting to post on this tread for my 3,000 posts..but went over it by 2. I wanted to dedicate it to Ross..My friend, my buddy..who has helped me over 2 years on VR. I am sooo appreciated to him......I love VR.Com but know not how to post pictures, ect..so I mail them to him and he posts for me.................I met Ann (Hensylle) in person and even tho I have never met Ross in person..I feel like he is my best buddy......I worry him with my trivial questions....like this morning when I e-mailed him and asked what time was Ohio on ( Daughter is on business trip in Canton tomorrow) and he e-mailed me right back..Central time. He beats Google all to pieces So, I know he is busy with other more important things..but always here for poor little me I'm waiting for the day that he tells me..Get a life. and leave him alone Hope that never happens..plus I love to bug him I LOVE you, MAN....Come to think of it, maybe after 3,000 posts ..it's time for the Mouth of the South to quit posting so much Bonnie
