Hi Everyone!....Tomorrow afternoon I will be going into the hospital with the AVR scheduled for sometime Wednesday the 14th. I know I thanked everyone on the chat yesterday for all their help, support and guidance, but I want to thank everyone who was not in the chat yesterday as well.....If not for this website, I would be going into the operation without ANY idea of what I am in for going forward. Often I left the website thinking that I just got more info than I really wanted to know, but the fact is I am much better equipped to handle this situation because of what I do know. By all accounts, my surgeon is one of the best in this part of Florida, but he made it seem like root canal. I have learned more about AVR in less than 2 weeks than I could have in months researching it alone.....

Thanks to all of you that took the time to email me directly....I think I am ready for this mountain climb and I look forward to being a tour guide when I get back down the other side!
