TGIF vs TBINS

"TBINS!" ... a co-worker responded with that acronym Friday afternoon when we were talking about how good it was to be TGIF (Thank God It's Friday). We all kinda looked at him funny, he shrugged and responded, "Too Bad It's Not Saturday". He explained that he'd rather it be Saturday so he didn't have to be at work.

I don't know, though. While that sounds good initially, I still prefer TGIF ... because you have the ENTIRE weekend ahead of you. If it is already Saturday, part (if not half) of the weekend is already done....

So ... what's your perspective ... TGIF or TBINS?

when I was working, I liked hump day. and TGIF meant dancing that night and Saturday night. Then Sunday was a total alone day all to myself to catch up for the dreaded Monday...........

now my days are all Saturdays and Sundays.......... nice

Thursdays used to be nice.....ladies nite in the bars.
Then TGIF would send us right to the Happy Hour in a nearby downtown bar.
And I can't relate to the TBINS since now I'm also into the every day is Saturday or Sunday!

I would relate to TGIF most. Hump Day after that. TBINS isn't relishing in the "whole weekend ahead" euphoria!

Ah, yes ... 100% Saturdays and Sundays. I've dreamt about that for a while...he he. Course, each road trip brings a bit of that to life for me ... but not near enough!

I once said, "I wish it was Friday." and my coworker said, "Why are you wishing your life away?" So I replied, "Okay, I wish it was last Friday!" I do enjoy my weekends, Friday nights are often date nights for me and my husband, so I wouldn't wish for Saturday without having Friday.

I'm with the "Friday Night is best" crowd. I've always felt best on Friday evenings, because that meant that the ENTIRE weekend was just starting!
