Hi. I just came across an interesting finding. Quest Diagnostics apparently has a test that is intended to reduce the uncertainty associated with initial Warfarin dosing, which reduces risk during the start-up period. The idea is that there are two identified genetic factors associated with warfarin sensitivity. They perform an assay (lab test) based on those genetic factors and then, depending upon your genetic make-up will determine a more appropriate starting dosage.

Here's also a snapshot of the relevant parts in case the link becomes inactive over time.
Just wondering if anyone has taken this test and whether or not the results seem to correspond to their observed sensitivity to warfarin or coumadin over time?
Thanks,
pem
