Hi all.
Last week I had the cardiolite/persantine/echo/stress tests ordered by the cardio the week before. Today I got a phone call at work, that the cardio read my tests and has scheduled me for a TEE (he wanted it tomorrow...but my hubby & I are both "alone" at work, and have to make arrangements w/employers) Anyway, it is scheduled for next Thursday. When I asked why...the nurse claimed to be unaware of the reason, but told me not to worry..(yeah right)
In 2001, I had a mitral valve replacement 29 St Jude, and 4+ CABG's. I have not been 100% since surgery. What is the TEE for...and what might he be looking for? I had one during surgery, but am alittle nervous about the test. I viewed old posts regarding this test. Is he viewing the valve? Enlargement?
Last year my EF was 40....could he be looking at this?
Can someone give me some ideas please?

I take , coumadin, 81 mgs asprin, digitek, verapamil, toporal, soma, premarin
