Hi all,

Looking some advice, I'm hoping to do a few trips next year and I was wondering if anyone had any issues with taking their testing kit on a plane as hand luggage? In particular with the lancets? I know the machine itself and test strips won't be an issue but not sure around the rules with finger pricking devices.

Im based in the UK but would welcome peoples experiences throughout the world on this one too.

in all my years of travel, foreign and domestic, I have never had any issues traveling with my tester.
In fact, they have never even asked me about it. I always take it in my carry-on bag, along with my test strips, and critical medications.
Happy Travels,
Rob

Always carry it in my cabin baggage. Probably just as millions of diabetic patients do.

They stole my finger nail clippers at Singapore, got cross about my toothpaste, but werent even slightly interested in my Coaguchek
