Okay...I broke two toes on my left foot this weekend...don't even ask how. I have been moaning and groaning about the pain for two days. Finally after receiving no sympathy from my husband I pitched a small fit...LOL! His reply was, "I figured you went through OHS and survived...two broken toes won't kill you." So my advice is try and get all the small sympathy things out of the way before OHS. After people decide you're tough and won't be a sissy about anything!!! LOL!:D

LOL...I will give you sympathy...I know how painful broken toes are...hopping is not as easy or as much fun now as when we were little kids...Ice those toes, take some pain meds and elevate your poor foot. I hope they heal quickly.

LOL! "Yep, us people that have been thru OHS are tough as nails!"

I hope you feel better my friend. The bad thing is, that they really can't do anything for broken toes, like casts or anything like that --- you just have to grin & bear it!

Hoping you feel better soon! :)

Been there and done that! That HURTS! I feel for you. I ended up taking a tennis shoe and cutting the top off where the toes are, so I could walk. Those boot things they give you in the hospital throw off your gait and you end up w/a back ache. Get out the ice. Hope you feel better very soon.

OUCH!!!!!!!!

Wishing you the best toe recovery or (toes);)

I think it's just a man thing. I bet if he broke his toes, you would be running around after him, while he sat there crying like a baby:D
Hope you heal up soon.

You're absolutely right; people expect us to be Tough!:pBut in my case, I hate being stuck even more than ever, and the sight of my own blood is enough to make me swoon!

Funny story - and SO true. You're a woman of steel now - get used to it!!! :D

Broken toes suck!!! I've been there and done that and in some ways it was more painful than my sternum ever was (not quite as dramatic, but at least you don't have to support the entire weight of your body on your sternum!!).

Hope the toes get better soon!

A : )

PS - and sorry, but I am curious how. I broke mine running into a lounge-room wall
