My wife mentioned today that, since my OHS on August 4th, I have quit snoring, and now sleep peacefully. I wonder why? But, for whatever reason, it is a gift we both appreciate.

That maybe you had/have Sleep Apnea? I have it severely and before I was diagnosed and started on my CPAP machine, I was so wiped out that I could barely even drive during the day after a full night's sleep, and in fact, I could barely function at all, but since I have been on this machine, I feel much better as far as the excessive tiredness goes, and it has helped my heart issues somewhat....You might want to just have it checked out, and even though the sleep study is a pain in the neck, it would be worth it to find out so they can get you on the right track if necessary. I was so hoping it was gone for good but it came back.

After Joe's mitral valve surgery he stopped too, as well as the terrible night sweats. His hasn't returned.
I had surgery in 2003...and my snoring ended as well. But...my snoring returned after about a year.
