Surgery Today

Well this is it. Hospital called last night and surgery is scheduled today. Odd though, my arrival time is scheduled for 5:15 pm. Called to see if it was a mistake, but no. They said they often do evening procedures and yes, I still have to fast. All day, no food, no water

Larry - Wishing you nothing but the best of luck and a smooth trip to "this" side of the mountain.

I'll bet the late start time is done to maximize utilization of the OR's, after all, the room and equipment never need to rest. As long as the doctors and support staff are well rested, you're fine!
