Surgery on Friday

After long debates with myself I decided to move ahead with my aortic root and hemiarch surgery this Friday May 3rd. Will be checking into the hospital tomorrow afternoon. Hope my surgeon will be in top shape and I get through this major scare.
Reading all your insights and stories on this page, helped me to prepare as much as I possibly can. It also helped me keeping a positive outlook. There might be bumps on the road of recovery, but I will get get better.
Tonight is my last night at home and I try to keep myself busy.
