Hi everyone
I'm here in Scotland and am going into hospital in Edinburgh on Sunday - my AVR replacement op is scheduled for Monday afternoon. I'm not unduly nervous or worried about this, my health is fine, I'm asymptomatic apart from very slight shortage of breath on climbing several flights of stairs and all the pre op tests including angiogram have revealed no other complications. Nonetheless, it is major surgery and it's been helpful to read about the experiences of other people on here. I'll be sure to report back and let everyone know how my experience was in the hope that I can maybe help others in the future.
Cheers, Tam
