Len,
Does this mean they're moving your surgery until Monday, or just getting you settled in the hospital a day earlier?

Hi Len - Hope all goes well. One thing I remember from the first night in post-op recovery was that I was so very terribly thirsty and they would only give me a very few ice chips at a time. I thought I'd just die from thirst. You won't though; and they ration them so you won't get sick in your stomach. A patient next to me, on the other side of a curtain, must have been able to badger his nurse out of more ice chips than my stingy nurse would give me and he ended up vomiting violently:eek:. That would be highly unpleasant while recovering from OHS.

Will someone be able to be with you at the hospital? And by the way, there are no dumb posts, as Ross already said. We all ask what we don't know or what we don't remember and we ask for a reason and happily someone else here usually either knows the answer or gives us some form of kind answer, though not always:(. Take care.

Thinking about you and wishing you well next week, Len.

All my best,
Ruth
