Hi All!!!

I'm back, I had some computer problems(got a nasty worm-some how it turned off my anti-virus and firewall)

I had my final check up with my surgeon yesterday and it was all good news. He has released me to return to work part time, said to start with 2 hrs a day and work up form there.

He was a little concerned about me going to the E.R. Saturday night(severe pain right lung- E.R. Dr said it was inflamation of the lung lining- no biggie jsut good drugs HAHA!) So he had another Xray taken and everything looked good, No Fluid!!!!!:D :D :D

When the nurse called Monday with the results of INR 3.73, I made her laugh when I made the comment "Yeah I can have some green veggies!" She said she has neverhad a patient that looked forward to veggies! I can't help it, green veggies are the best!

I also want to THANK all of you that took the time to answer my questions (and everyone elses) these past 3 months. I wish there was something I could do to repay you. Thank you Hank for starting this site!!!!

Well, I will quit rambling!

Ah but Nadine there is something you can do! You can stick around and share what you've learned with others now. ;)

It's good to hear that your almost back in full action. Take it easy as always and if your getting too overly worked, say something about it. People don't realize just what you've been through and will expect you to be your same old self. Your not, not yet anyway.
Keep us posted on your progress. :)

Hi Nadi-

Sounds as if things are going along "swimmingly". Going back to work part time-- seems like it was just yesterday when you had your surgery. How time flies.

Really great news!

Hey Nadine, it is Great to hear how well you are doing with your recovery. Keep it up. We were just through your town last week on our way to Branson. Take Care

Dave

Ross, I would be honored to stick around to help answer questions or just to encourage.

Hi Dave!

Wish I had known we could have met for decaf or something.
I love Branson! As a matter of fact we are going down Sat. for Branson-fest and the street dance, Maybe take in the Foreigner concert with some friends. Sounds like a good present to husband for being such a wonderful caregiver these past 2-3 months.

Anyone for that matter who is going to our neck of the woods just let me know. it would be great to meet! Esp. since I don't think we will make the reunion we are suppose to go to New Orleans in Oct. (If we do get to make it I have family and friends that we will stay with- Born there but lived all over the US)

Take care.
