My husband is scheduled to meet the surgeon at UofM hospital on Wednesday afternoon to discuss his options of a aortic valve replacement/mitral valve repair. We have known about his heart issues for a few years but he is 33 years old and our last check up a few weeks ago this all came as a shock to us that the enlargement/leakage had progressed so much. Everything has moved so fast since that appointment that I can only imagine how fast surgery will be scheduled... I am doing a lot of research to prepare since he is too overwhelmed to look at information. Does anyone have any great questions or suggestions before we go? Anything would be helpful
