"April l7.2002 I had open heart surgery where my Aorta valve was replaced with a metal valve. I am 76 years old and doing well according to my kids and PT's. Sometimes I get a little down because I do not feel as well as I would like. Would like to share my experiences and see if what and how I feel is normal for this experience."

I sent him email with a description of my surgeries, name, age, and a shameless plug to get him to come browse the threads here and perhaps join up with us. I think he'd feel a whole lot better amongst all of us heart patients.
