Because our place is close up against the mesa on the West, we don't see a "normal" sunset. What we do see is the effects of the unseen sunset on the clouds above the mesa to the East. I was sitting on the deck with my wireless laptop & realized I could easily send the picture to my friends on the forum. I didn't even have to come inside. I hope some of you enjoy looking at our "sunset".

Dennis,
You keep sending these photos and you will end up with permanent house guests.;) :D ;)
Seriously tho - thanks for sharing. I love seeing your posts.

Dennis,
The picture isn't showing up for me. I hope it's something with my computer and not with your posting of the picture

I don't know what's wrong Dennis. I'm able to view Harrybaby's pictures, but not yours. I'll delete some temporary files and see if that's the problem.

Dennis,
It's incredibly beautiful and definitely worth deleting internet files to view.
Have you considered using it as a screen saver?

Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your comment.

Thank you for your comment. Also, I am very grateful that Hank allows us to take the space to post pictures. I do delete them from the site after a couple of weeks, since I know pictures take a lot of space.

I love changing screen savers, especially since I recently discovered that I can do it with 1 keystroke. Right now I am using the sunrise picture I posted a week ago. I like the picture, and the few files I keep on my desk top show up well against that particular screen saver.

You sir, live in one of the most beautiful parts of this country. I'm telling you, if there were a way, I'd come out there in a heart beat.

It's really easy to set up a page and you don't have to have it be for public viewing - just those who you give your member name to.

Dennis, I thought of you last Saturday and Sunday. Missed the sunrise Sat. but the sunset at the beach was one of the mostbeautiful I've ever seen. Wish I'd had a camera! Sunday I watched the moonrise over the river, and that was beautiful too. Keep the pics coming. The sort of profound beauty you capture has a healing quality. Thanks, Brian

Please tell me what you think. I got the software today, and hve enjoyed myself so far. You need to click where it says Banff 2 (upper left, page 1) to get to page 2, and likewise for page 3.

Oh Man, thats disgusting! I don't know how you can take all that Nature!!!!
Lol, man, it looks like a slice of heaven on Earth. We get to watch the sunset behind a couple of old smoke stacks no longer in use.
:)

Keep it going Dennis!!!!! It's a great start. Absolutely beautiful photos (and a beautiful wife too!)

Now I understand John Denver's song a little more. Thank you so much for these photos. It is almost hard to believe the place is real.

I just finished the Banff pictures web site, a total of 7 pages. I got my iweb software today, and was able to get a web-page in just a few hours. I never thought I would be creating a web-page. Now Barb wants me to do a second site consisting of the little weekly newsletter she does for her second grade class. It has been an enjoyable day.

Yeap, page 3 pic gets my vote too! Job well done. Not bad for a first timer! :D (Like I could do better? )

a beautiful piece of earth.

My son sent pictures of Hawaii. The people there are very, very environmentally conscious and keep the islands and water pristine as nature intended. Looks like your area is doing the same.
