I bought my eighteen year old cat one of those bag/beds they crawl in then it makes a rustling noise like a paper bag. He loves to crawl into boxes or a garbage sack so I thought it ideal. I have to say, when he was a kitten he fell from a great height so this might explain him being a bit simple. :)

so he has you trained well I see:rolleyes:

As does my psychotic 2 year old cat has me trained to let him in every morning at 5am:eek:

I have a series of cat flaps, he can let himself in and out. :) Actually, that might be why he won't get in the bag, he is apprehensive about our cat flaps now, he will stand and look for ages and hope that the door will open for him. I think he might have been bumped on the nose a few times when we had other cats, one in particular used to come through the flap on the run. This cat is now an only cat but I think he is still worrried. He might think another cat is in the bag as it is dark inside AND I bought it off ebay so it might smell of another cat.

Really funny, Sue - back to paper bags, eh?

I have a kitty who goes out the dog door correctly, but apparently thinks it only opens one direction - out. When outside, she pulls the flap toward her and scoots in. None of the other animals seem to have this problem - they all shove it with their noses going in and out.
