OMG, they are finally learning. Maybe they will get on the same page before I die?

Patients who stopped receiving warfarin but received therapy with another blood-thinner, heparin, as a "bridge" while having surgery to implant a cardiac device had more bleeding complications and longer hospital stays than those who continued receiving warfarin during surgery, the U.S. team found.

Is this not what I've been saying for a long time now?

This is an important piece of information. Joe almost died of a massive bleedout after gallbladder surgery. It was a combination of a surgical mishap when the surgeon nicked his liver, and Lovenox which was given before and after surgery.

Yeah, don't think I'm not taking/sending it to Dr. Ryan before my AVR!!!!!! 'cause it's the coming off warfarin that scares me almost as much as the surgery.

Ah, I'll be due for a battery change in a couple of years, I'll make sure I keep a link to this study in case anyone argues with me!
