Got the results of my stress test yesterday -- everything is normal. Looks like the chest pain/discomfort I was experiencing was probably just gas from taking fish oil pills, as I stopped taking them a few days ago and it pretty much went away. Technician who ran the test said she couldn't hear a heart murmur -- could be good news?

Also got myself weighed by one of the fancy scales at the protein shake place I got to sometimes. Not sure how it works, but it calculates body fat percentage, hydration, and a whole host of other stuff. To my surprise, I was "in the green" on every category except for BMI, where I am nearly in the green (but I already knew that -- I am less than 5 pounds overweight). According to their calculations, my "fitness age" is 37, which is less than my actual age of 42.

All of which was nicer to learn than that my coronary arterial age is 70 or so, after getting that CT scan that revealed abominable CAC.

My ct angio in 2014 said I had some I had some calcification in one of my arteries. They said it had "approximately 50 % stenosis. A little over a year later and I had another one and it/ they said it had 30% . So either it dropped dramatically, I highly doubt it, or there's a lot of interpretation going on.

this bit ... cos when you look at the images they see you probably can't see anything

I concur. I don't know if the calcium score is similarly subjective. I decided to go with the 30 percent .....

I'm glad things your stress test came back normal and the pain wasn't heart-related.

Great work, getting your weight into such a good range!
