Stress echo

Well, it appears as if the docs are not ready to let go of the possibility of PH. She said she is almost 100% sure I do not have it but wants to be 100% sure.

I am now scheduled to go for a stress echo. Has anyone had one of these? Anyone know what's involved? It seems strange that they can use the doppler while you are exercising. How do they do this?

I just had a stress echo done in August, its a stress test with the technicians doing an echocardiogram after you have exercised on the treadmill. They do the echo while your body is under the "stress" of exercising...in fact this is how I found out that I have Pulmonary Hypertension.
