Strange pain in left side of body 4 months post-op

Hey everyone! I am four months past surgery to replace my aortic valve, and have had a couple bumps but the newest curveball thrown at me is pain in my left torso/shoulder. Sometimes when I get my heart beating I feel throbs of pain that coincide with the beats. It has been happening for a couple days now. I called my cardio, and he said he would like to check it out, that it may be related to the aorta or several other things. Has anyone else experienced similar pains? This is not normal for me, as during the last couple months I have had no pain whatsoever till now.

Sorry to hear of the newest curveball. You have done the very best thing you can for yourself and that is having it checked out by your cardio. I can't even begin to guess what may be going on. Sometimes nerves take a little while to start sending new signals to our bodies but I can't see how that would relate to the pain throbing in conjunctions with your heart beats. In any case, please keep us posted and I sure hope it is nothing that can't be dealt with promptly and completely. Best Wishes
