BUT I lost another 6 minutes .....I'll run outta time if this keeps happening :eek2:

I woke up at 4:30am and was in a cold sweat then felt the bed bounce and a buzzing in my ears looked at the clock and it was 4:36 shook my head, rolled over and went back to sleep..............had a GREAT day with grand daughter and son-in-law shopping the he cooked my wife and I dinner with he, my daughter and two grand daughters rounding out a GREAT day then getting home found out that the hospital and cardiologist had called to "see if I was still breathing" as my bedside "carelink" had transmitted the event to them ...............BOTTOM LINE >>>>>IT WORKED and I live to tel the tale LIFE IS GOOD

BTW for those that are aware this time I did NOT see the light:angel: ............. hope that means I'll still be welcome when time comes:biggrin2:

Oh My God! You ICD people are amazing. After reading this I'm afraid to go to sleep, I have this fear that the docs should of put an ICD in me rather than just an old fashioned pacemaker. Then I start to think that even if you don't need a pacemaker or ICD that everyone should be implanted with an ICD just in case... Sheesh.

I'm always reminded of how fragile life can be -- and how wonderful modern electronics can make life.

Greg - I'm really glad they have everything set up right and working for you. I wouldn't want to think of the alternative.

Good lord, you pretty much slept through it!???

Frack! When I had my little v-tach a couple years ago (after inadvertently ingesting MSG in Japanese food, the EP surmised), the increased HR and pacing woke me up, and kept me up until the extra meds kicked in.

You slept through the REBOOT!!!!!

Absolutely freaking amazing.
