Hi,

I am sitting here today almost on pins and needles. I have almost nothing to do! I feel better now that I'm no longer working, my ankles look like ankles again, and I have researched the surgery for the last time.

Steve, I'm glad we added the 'pacing lane' to our waiting room. It has been a lovely place to spend all these months.

I had a nice call from our member Paula last pm and hope to get together with her after surgery. She only lives about 10 minutes away from me....isn't that cool!

I called to see if my grandson was available to play but all I got was a recording. I might have to play cars and trucks all by myself.

My pcp's nurse called a little while ago and said to resume the same dose of coumadin I'm on following surgery. I gave them the fax containing my Cancun results and wrote out how I changed my dose. My INR yesterday was 3.0 so I'm glad I made the changes. Out of 5 INRs, I now have 2 that were in range.

Sorry to be rambling but like I said....I have nothing to do;) . Yesterday I spent hours cleaning up my computer of worms and viruses....at least it kept me busy!

Has anyone heard anything else on Letitia?

Not a peep on Lettitia. Very disturbing to say the least.

You could do what I usually do if you have a little money to play with. Start fixing things up around the house. I always start something then find it's costing too much too fast to finish it.

Then again, you could always disable your antivirus and try to catch a few to keep you busy. That shouldn't be too hard to do. :D

Hey Betty,
I know what you are going through. I only had 3 days to worry and it was over the Easter weekend so I had a lot going on and it seemed to go by very fast. Just remember that in a few days it will all be over and you will be on the road to recovery and feeling a lot better. You are in my prayers.

Dave

hi betty!
i feel so badly for you getting "antsy" like this.... the tail end is just about the worst as far as the waiting goes...
kind of like "are we there yet?"
please try and keep busy and come here and chat with us.
spend some nice time with family and friends...try and relax...
just think, by the time you wake up and feel alert on tuesday, try to think back to today and how you felt and realize that it is all behind you.
you are in our thoughts.
be well, sylvia

Betty, I wish you come over here and clean my computer. Patched the Microsoft thing and tried to get McAfee, but the power went out 75% of the way through! Had to call McAfee (at $3 a minute!) three times...each time we get one problem solved, I discover another one! Now I have all the McAfee stuff removed but 3 things...called again this a.m. and their phone # changed...maybe I broke it or they were trying to lose me! Called the new number and it is down for service right now! And now they say there is a new virus!

Sorry for the whine...but your comment on your computer set me off!

Good luck and try not to fret too much, but it is normal at this stage of the game.

Jean if you have McAfee totally removed, don't load it back on.

Here is a nice FREE AV program. They don't update everyday, but it does a great job. You just have to keep checking for definition updates.
