Hey all,

My surgery date is Nov 25th. I'm still waiting and still working out with BPM limitations. Rock climbing and cycling. I blogged about using the Digifit app to help me monitor here: http://robovalve.wordpress.com/2013/07/26/monitoring-bpm-with-digifit/

And the company Digifit asked me to write a testimonial for their website here: http://blog.digifit.com/2013/08/digifit-helps-anthony/

Staying positive, having fun, living life, and enjoying my job (8th grade science teacher) more than ever. Keep ticking.

@Agian, if you are able to work out, I highly recommend getting on a schedule using an app like Digifit along with a heart rate monitor. This allows you to track your progress. The best bet to lose weight and get fitter is to increase muscle mass by some sort of weight training (low weight, high rep for many of us in the waiting room), and to ALSO do some cardio. I love cycling. It is fun and low impact. Brisk walking can be just as good. The hard part is doing this consistently.
