I just got the hard copy of my latest echo interpretation. Nothing new ! How about that, still the same AVA, just over 1.0 cm sq., no significant enlargement, stenosis as it has been for the past year or so, LVEF still 65% -- all in all, just like last time. I think I'm real happy -- I feel about the same, test about the same, I guess I AM about the same, so I can keep on just waitin' around some more!

Note to all the docs and researchers: Keep on pushing as far ahead as you can while I'm waiting. Doc's - get all the practice you can, so you'll be good and ready when my time comes. In the meantime, I'll keep a close watch on my situation and call when I see any changes. . . [VERY large chuckle!].

Steve, great news!

I understand the feeling of relief you feel when you get good news after the checkup. Keep em coming!

:)

Forgot to mention one other thing...this is my 20th post...I'm officially a member now!

LOL :D

Steve,
Of course it has to be no change - we don't want to have to go through the trouble of electing a new Waiting Room President.

Thanks, everyone. . .

Thanks, everyone. . .

for enjoying my good report with me. I'm sure I didn't cause it to be that good, but I do feel better.

Allen and Bryan -- hope you are finding all to your liking and comfort here in The Waiting Room. Since Betty (bvdr) retired (had her surgery) we lack the "woman's touch" around here. If anything is missing, just speak up!

Steve,
You know we couldn't spare you for even a few days so your condition will stay stable forever!(?) Great news.
The other Steve

Great news, Steve! Of course now you will be responsible for renewing the magazine subscriptions in the Waiting Room...

That's wonderful news, Steve! I think there are plenty of us to keep you company while you wait :p

Good to hear that your heart is still stable. I know I felt relieved when the Drs said I was still OK for the time being!. I did not realise how much tension had built up before my last visit. My next check up is in June so long as nothing else happens in the mean time.

All the best

Martin

Great News

Great News

Steve:

Good news. I hope to hear the same type of stuff this summer when I travel to Rochester.

I can give the waiting room the "woman's touch", but don't expect me to dust or straighten out the magazines on the coffee table!

I need a recliner in there, do we have a DVD player?

Geeze! You guys in the waiting room want everything! Next thing you know you'll be demanding a plasma screen TV.:D

LOL Ross!

:D :D :D

I'll graciously accept my title with pride.

In case anyone is curious who that is in my picture it's my "therapy dog". When I moved to Nashville I had to leave her with my parents due to my heavy travel schedule. Every time I go home to visit my parents I get a heavy dose of Poodle therapy. I'm sure she is going to love me hanging out with her during my post-op recovery.

Great news Steve, but.....AHEM! I'm still in the waiting room, and last time I checked, I was a woman. :D

I think.

Hi Steve,
Great news-I noticed you have been good about staying away from all the goodies in the waiting room-Didn't we get a plasma screen last year when we got the new entertainment centre?
Also, do we need to build an addition. How many people are in there anyway? Do you keep track, attendence or anything?

Good news! Just keep a check on it and as time continues on, the advances and improvements are all to your advantage. May you wait forever and enjoy your good health.

Yo bunny, if you ain't a girl, your the purtiest guy I've ever seen ,you even got Elvis beat.:D

Hey, Peggy and Karlyn - Read back a few months for the posts on re-fitting the waiting room. A few of us had it all optioned out with large-screen HDTV, surround sound, DVD, and all the goodies. Even have high speed internet, of course!

Bunny, I'm dumb, not blind :) -- I know we have quite a number of women in here, but we haven't yet had anyone volunteer to take over Betty's (bvdr) former post of co-chairperson here along with me. Any volunteers?

As to total "membership" -- I'm not sure. A couple of months ago we had a thread about "Who's still here?" or something like that -- but I ren into some family issues and dropped out of sight for a couple of months and never got to take down the list. Ross - do you know how long the old threads are there? If it is still there, maybe I'll geiv it a try to draft the list. Thoughts anyone?
