Peachy

Hi everyone

At last I am having something done about those annoying sternum wires. I saw the surgeon yesterday and he is going to remove two of the wires. He says it's because I'm thin that I am having the bother. One of them has been annyoing me since my op and is cutting me from the inside and has left a bruise. The other one though I can feel it it does not give me any pain. He says it will be a quick op and only requires two small incisions to remove the wires. I will only be in hospital overnight. Should get an appointment soon for February or March and after that I should be more comfortable and able to move without getting stabbed.

Peachy, glad to know that you will finally get some relief. It's been a long while for you to have to put up with this. Nicole (ILoveNY) had some out, as other members did. They were much relieved about it afterward. The same will happen for you. Let us know. It always helps for us to know these experiences (aside from our concern for you) so that when somebody else wants an answer to the same question, we have an real live person we can refer to. Blessins
