Just curious - Do we know which state has the biggest representation here?

My sister-in-law told me that her brother-in-law may have a prolapsed mitral valve. He lives in Colorado and had an episode of prolonged palpitations, so now they're doing a work up on him.

But my first thought was "Sheesh, seems like an epidemic in Colorado."

We could do a poll, Karlynn. Lump the states together according to region, then let everyone post their specific state.
Want to try it?

You be the ONE and ONLY!

What about Arizona? I can count 5, including our founder, Hank. Gotta watch this Ross. We're going to want a full accounting by state. Ah, the task of moderator never ends......................

I'd forgotten about Ohio. Seems to be the Bermuda Triange of valve disease.

I think there are five Hoosiers, but I'm just guestimating -- Me, Sherrin, Chris C., Mara, and Kodiak. Any more out there that I'm forgetting???

The triangle would encompass Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois?

I can think of a half dozen from Michigan.
Seems like a lot from the Chicago area.

How about the Bermuda Rectangle--Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois? We could put Canton dead center if we rigged the map a little.

Army of Northern Virginia?

Army of Northern Virginia?

Seen few Virginians, outside of Northern Virginia/DC suburbs. Maybe they're here and I've just been a member too short a time to catch their posts. Where are you, Virginians? Richmond? Roanoke? Tidewater? ("Shore are a lot of Yankees here, General Lee.")

Technically what we locals call the tri-state area is Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana. Hard to know if it is a valve problem area or we just all like to talk a lot. ;) ;)

Gina,
Being raised in Southern Illinois, our tri-state area was Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana. Just depends on where you're from, I guess. ;) ;)
But, I concur that there seems to be a swirling mass of something dead center over Ross's house that makes it a hotbed of valve activity!

Somewhat Official Totals

As far as the registrations go, you know, how people never fill out where they are or hadn't in the past etc. By state listing, this is what we have. This is in no way accurate since some folks list cities only, but hey, I tried!

I think I'm going to move to Hawaii, seems like a healthy state if there is nobody from there with valve disease.

Ross, did you count yourself more than once to get us ohioans in the lead? :)
