Just wondering how the rest of the country is faring. I was surprised to hear the weather forecast on the radio this morning......he said "more of the same today, calling for rain, thunderstorms possibly this afternoon, hail, sunshine and rainbows" I've just never heard them say "calling for rainbows!". Must be Oregon!!

Our tulips are up, daffodils waning, 3rd round of cherry blossoms (so many different kinds of flowering trees) and red and purple azaleas beginning to peak.

Ah, spring. :D

We had a beautiful afternoon following a rainy and gloomy morning. Typical for this time of year. Beats thunderstorms and tornados.

I have tulips blooming and my lilac bushes starting to bud out....We had tornadoes here in Iowa already...hope it is nothing like last yr....we had a record year for tornadoes...Spring and Fall are my fav seasons....

Today was rather nasty here in the sandhills of NC. The heavy rain should wash away much of the pollen though and by the week-end we should enjoy beautiful weather again. This time of year is usually beautiful in NC and there are blossoms everywhere. The wisteria is in full bloom climbing high into the trees and across our back fence and trellis the purple wisteria blooms along with all the bright yellow Carolina Jasmine. I love this time of year! I might even have to take out my clubs and make a tee time.......

Here in S.E. Michigan it has been a little cool but very dry.
No rain for many, many days so far, and none forecast in the forseeable future.
Nothing but sunshine and blue skies, temps in the high fifties to low sixties.
All the rain and storms have stayed south of us, it has been going to all our friends in Ohio.
Dangerously dry however, there have been some wildfires.
Humidity levels only in the low twenties.

four weeks - four storms. thunder, lightning, floods, bridges out, roads out, using canoes to get to/fro homes.

lots of flowers have come and gone. dogwood, azaleas, tulips - now it's on to weeds. After hurricanes of last year, we have millions of new weeds from seeds that were blown in by those storms. Anybody else having new patches of weeds from the hurricanes? Is it just us?

temps are great. no a/c use yet.

We're well into autumn here in Brazil now, but our summer just doesn't want to leave us. We get the odd cold spell here and there but it's been quite hot most of the time. I sencerely hope that winter doesn't decide to make up for lost time! Enjoy your good weather!

Today is kind of a dreary, rainy day...but the last two weeks have been sunny and in the 70's for the most part. I believe that's 15-20 degrees warmer than average for April in Minnesota...so I'll take what I can get!
