Beautiful, beautiful pictures. We have families of eagles at our lake home in the winter. They are so much fun to watch. For such a beautiful bird, I think they always have such a mean look on their face. It's like they are frowning at you.

We'll visit the bison sometime in the morning of the 14th -- I hope these are the last hiccups in the weather, has been a bit cold and blustery the past few days -- I will plan out a walk near the bison field to maximize sightseeing and minimize walking...

The names are a bit pretentious -- following good advertising policy -- and hyperbolic... Savannah, GA is a closer relation to this one than savannah africa.

❥ In search of butterflies and birds in the thicket trail -- glimpsed a pretty intriguingly colored bird but it went by too quickly to identify -- lots of butterflies...

I think we saw many of these ( Spring azures )
