I don't know about the INR but Splenda can cause major gas and diarrhea in those sensetive to it or Olean.

Splenda- no problem

Splenda- no problem

I have been on it for several years because my dr. said I should get off
aspartame because it is rough on the kidneys. INR and dosage has remained the same.

Since Splenda cannot be metabolized due to it's chemical makeup, I see no reason why it should interfere with one's INR.

I've not heard or experienced this with Splenda, but I know it's true of Sorbitol.

My husband uses both splenda and equal.....never has had a problem with PT INR because of it......

Please pardon my confusion. What do you mean when you say "incidence in the results of PT-INR?" Further, what do you mean by " low, medium or High incidence? We use splenda and have not noticed any changes in INR...or p/t.
Many thanks,
Blanche

I concur! It causes me great digestive/intestinal problems!

There is no reason to expect that Splenda would have any effect on the INR.
