hey guys,
sorry i've been MIA, I've had a very hard time lately, I just got back from the ER tonight for chest pain and shortness of breath, they did a big work up, and everything came back normal, and the ER doc called my cardio and they agreed. They think the chest pain is due to the esophageal issues I am having, and the ulcers, i'm also probably pushing too hard with work and everything lately, being overtired doesnt help anything...this is what I get for putting my face on and pretending everything is OK.

I've also had trouble swallowing due to the nissen fundo I had, so I had an endoscopy last week that showed I have ulcers, and they did my second dilation in a couple months, I'm still stuck eating mashed potatoes and gravy and ice cream and yogurt/pudding, and I still don't feel right, totally exhausted/wiped out, and just "not right" weak and uggh

on top of that we're still trying to figure out the SVT thing, we finally caught an 8 beat run on the implantable loop recorder, so I am not going nuts!!! at this point we've gone up to 50 mg metoprolol, but there's not much we're going to do just yet cause they aren't bad enough yet. . .

on the up side, I am getting closer to being able to go on day shift, so i'm hoping that will help
i just wanted to give an update, I'll try to be better about giving more updates,
thanks for reading if you've read this far!!! and thanks for the support, I really appreciate it

Morgan, I wish you only the very best. I hope that you are in fact able to get on the "day shift" working daylight hours can be a big plus. Also, I hope that the ulcers are able to be healed with minimal invasion to your body. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks for the update and hopefully they will get you moved to the day shift sooner than later! Hang in there...:)

Hey Morgan,

Thoughts/prayers continuing....

Morgan,
Thanks for the update. Sorry things have been tough lately, but I'm going to fuss at you. As much as I love mashed potatoes and gravy and especially ice cream!, you've got to find some better foods to nourish your body. I'm not sure what you feel you can tolerate, but maybe some mashed beans (protein) or yummy veggies, applesauce, hummus, protein shakes, etc. As busy as you are and as someone who is always on the run your body needs good fuel. Rant over. Take care of yourself and let us know how things are going.
Best always,
John

Hope you feel better soon. It is harder when there are other issues playing against recovery from surgery. Hugs for today. Feel better soon.
