Hi Hensy, Nancy, Medtronic Of Borg, Caitlin and everyone...
I am soooooooo sorry that I haven't been on in a while. I have been having a hard time dealing with my illnesses and getting used to dealing with this Congestive Heart Failure (Yes, it has FINALLY BEEN ESTABLISHED!!!) I have been so tired that I haven't even been on the computer, and trying to keep track of my weight and swelling and taking the Lasix and Potassium and dealing with all the chest pains. IT HAS BEEN HORRIBLE especially right on the end of my Kidney Surgery. I finally found a Cardiologist who took the time to sit down and go through all the tests and explain what they mean, and HE ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ME...what a shocker!!! But anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I am on again whenever I am not feeling too bad, and that as far as I know, they are not going to touch my valves unless they have to. Now the Dr. said all we have to do is keep me from having any Heart Attacks--YIPES. Please Let me know how you all are doing and I will be on as I am able..This exhaustion thing is for the birds....Take Care and talk to you guys soon....Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

Hey Harrybaby666,
Sorry to hear about your illnesses, but glad you are posting again. Maybe this Cardiologist will be able to help you out, as you say at least he is listening to you and explaining things to you.
You know someone will always be here to listen and give support.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Take Care

Hi Harry,

Nice to hear from you again - your absence had been noticed! - though sorry to hear about all the problems you've been dealing with which have kept you away.

I'm glad you've found a cardio you feel is listening to you. It really does make all the difference in the world, doesn't it? I hope he's able to keep track of everything that's going on with you and get you on the mend. Meanwhile, hope you're getting plenty of rest to combat the exhaustion.

Sending positive thoughts your way.....
Anna : )

Just checked your most recent posts. You HAVE been gone a long time. I'm surprised Ross didn't send out the hounds.

Glad to have you back "home". Sorry to hear of your ups and downs, but glad you found a doctor that listens. That is oh so important.

Hi Fyrfytr, Karilynn, and abanabba

Hi Fyrfytr, Karilynn, and abanabba

Thanks for the encouraging words...I seem to be doing ok right now, so I shouldn't jinx myself, although, I have to admit that the exhaustion is horrorfying. Meanwhile, How is everyone else doing? I hope everyone is well and/or getting the treatment that he or she needs and still enjoying life. Abbanabba, are things going better for you? Have you had the good fortune of getting someone to listen to you for a change? I hope so. Fyrfytr, I am EXTREMELY pleased with this new Doc, as he has sat down and went through all the tests with me, answered all of my questions and was really concerned about how I was feeling emotionally about all the issues. So now, all I can do is hopefully stick with this Dr. (meaning: If He Doesn't leave like most of the others I have had...LOL) How are you feeling? anything new? I hope nothing drastic has happened since I have been away..It is amazing how surgery can drag a person down isn't it? Well, take care guys and gals, and I will be checking back in...Harrybaby666 :D :D :D :D :D

Hey, Harry - I am away too - different reasons than you, tho. I am sorry you have been so under the weather, but isn't it comforting to finally get some answers. Many times, we just have to figure them out all by ourselves. It's good to know you are feeling better. Just keep on keepin on. My last surgery was 13 mos ago and I finally have gotten better, but I think it was the Lipitor and not only the surgery.

So glad to hear that you are doing better and have a real diagnosis. And a better doctor to boot. It is always better to have someone who understands that you have a need to know what is actually going on. And you keep doing as the doctor tells you. Do not overdo doing things, have others help you when it is too much. Take care and keep coming in. I have only one problem, my INR is messed. Two picks, 1.9. This last week, 4.1 and and went for another deposit. I hope it gets normal soon. Keep hanging in there big fella.

Welcome back, Harry,

I'm glad you've finally been able to make it out here onto vr.com -- we were wondering what happened. I'm really sorry you've run into CHF -- my mom had it for her last several years. It was manageable, but of course she was much older than you and could rationalize the slowing down and accept it more easily.

Remember that we're here any time you want to vent, ramble, or just share.
