I HAD THE STRESS/THALLIUM DONE TODAY:

All went well of course I had a caffeine headache...
My starting blood pressure was 130/80 and with the treadmill was 180/84 I think...I actually did vomit on the way home and still haven't had anything to eat ahhhh..I usually don't vomit I have maybe 2 times in my whole life....yuck....

Ok do you all remember my other ekg 2 weeks ago it said:
possible old anterior infarction..

The one today said:

sinus rythym QRS(t) abnormality cannot rule out anteroseptal myocardial damage...

What does this one mean any ideas?

Is there a Cardiologist in the house?

I've read many pages on this condition and it's way over my head. I have some what of a clue, but knowing that I don't really know, I won't elaborate on this one.

Let's see if someone else knowledgeable comes along. :(

Ross,
Can you tell me where you might have read it?
From what I can find its in corelation with left coronary artery.
Let me know what links you have P-L-E -A-S-E...

Thanks,
Sonya:)

Go to About.com, look up heart disease/cardiology, then look up Dr Rich, join, go into his site, ask him and he will tell you. He will NOT give any advice on internet but he is a noted EP and can answer these questions.

I had checked with him before on the other EKG but I haven't checked on this one. So I will go and do a new post...

Thanks,
Sonya

I have checked with Dr. Rich and he says the EKG's are saying the same thing.....My stress/thallium should clarify this....

Went over and read your posts at about.com. Sounds like this sort of thing shows up in normal people. Perhaps the results of the thallium test on Tuesday will clear it all up. Will be interested in hearing what the test says.

Hey,
I have talke to the Dr.'s office about my stress/thallium test it showed No coronary artery disease or any Blocked Arterys.
I ask the nurse if it showed the heart muscle damage she wouldn't tell me she said I woud have to talk to the Dr. on the Oct. 25 about that. Ahhhh So I have been waiting, & waiting.
This could clear up the EKG thing.
Well I have also been communicating with a Dr. on another site asking a lot of questions about the EKGS he has been very helpful. This is what I have learned...

On my EKG the QRS waves are inverted on V1 and V2 this does indicate ateroseptal myocardial damage. Also the p waves are inverted on V1 as well as mostly non existant in v2 this is because of the left atrium enlargement. I ask if the left atrium enlargement could confuse thte fact of the anteroseptal damage he said no....I have reviewed I think every EKG site out there as well as went to some EKGS schools ahh I'm learning.
Then when I had a good question then I posted it to the Dr. and then he would answer back. I will clarify what all I have learned on this to my Dr. on the 25 of October..... So basically he is saying the way my QRS and P waves are this definatly means there is anteroseptal damage and left atrium enlargement.
Now the wait to see how much damage there is.................
