A short post. I recently was directed to the blog of a young woman who was raised in England, and is now happily married to a cowboy in Montana. She has published some of the most beautiful scenic photographs I have ever seen. Her journey from an apparently well-to-to London family to off grid living in Montana is very interesting as well. I would love to hear her parents version.

if you are curious, you can see them here:

I highly recommended it.

Montana is stunning. Something about the light there....big sky and all!

The horses, of course, add everything! Personality, depth, color, dimension.

Be sure to leave her YOUR link...... she will enjoy your photos jsut as much, I know!

Thanks for sharing.

Great link...my wife is also English, very proper girl (at least until she me me). I've lived on Oregon and Washington before and have her convinced that when we are in a position to do so that we must move out west. I've tried to explain to her about Montana and she shudders at the thought. Im going to show her this post so she can see what she is missing. She fell in love with Portland and Seattle, still cities but at least in the right direction. Hiking on Mt Rainier certainly helped my case also. Now I just have to get her to Glacier National Park for a week and I think I can firmly set the hook.

I also got her a donkey calendar last year for xmas, needless to say she LOVES that calendar.

Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful photos and the blog entries were very nice to read.

Well, I started the process of loading the page, went in the shower and came back....half of the pics had loaded and my internet disconnected. But from the pics that I saw, they are super nice with cute, insightful descriptions. This lifestyle is infectious....
And that's why I bought a hobby farm!:)
