I do love snow, and I guess I live in the right place. Yesterday Taos got over 30 inches of snow. This is what we got last night. I was walking around the property looking for a possible pictures. This is my favorite of several I took. I hope to pst several others on the blog.

To all those who promised to send their snow--thanks. A good winter snow pack is our first and best defense against forest fires later in the year.

Dennis, I love snow too! I think your snow photos are my favorite of any of your work.

We got snow - about 7 inches. Then we got ice..... and now rain. It's a watery, slushy mess here now. :(

Absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful!

I love your pictures Dennis, thanks for sharing.:)

Great picture, i love the snow too but we dont get much, so i love looking at all the snow pictures.

Great picture Dennis!!! I too love snow pictures. We have VERY little snow here and when we get a little or it is in the forecast the stores sell out of bread and milk in 18 minutes. When a storm comes through it is usually ice and that means power outages.

Beautiful Dennis -

Beautiful Dennis -

I love snow, too, as long as I am in a warm cozy house looking out at it. ;) Used to love playing in the snow but my hypothyroidism has taken care of that for me - I'm cold all the time and can't tolerate cold weather as I could in my younger days. :) However, I do hope that Wayne and I can get outside and do some X-C skiing sometime before the winter is over. :D

As soon as the first snow falls here in the mountains, I am dreaming of summer - and I started dreaming about a month ago here in the Colorado Rockies.

Enjoy the holidays now that you have snow! I cannot imagine living in a warm climate during Christmas (no offense to anyone). We have relatives in Alabama and they head for the beach in Florida for Christmas and wouldn't take our cold and snow for anything. lol

That is a lovely picture, Dennis. Fit for your Christmas cards.

we have hot weather - 80s today. I used the a.c. in the car. Tomorrow in the 80s as well, breaking records. But the cold is coming in starting the next day and we'll get back to normal. But no snow here except twice in the past 20 yrs. Snow is beautiful but you can have my part.
