Smorgasboard: reunion "activity" & notes from yours truly

Wasn't exactly sure which forum to post this in....

A few things on my plate/mind/whatever this week:

1) I haven't been online much this week as my friend, Heather, from VA, was in town visiting with her Dad, who was here on business. I've been reading as many posts as I can...just not posting much...

2) I went home from work early today because the specialist at Northwestern got a bit concerned that my right leg wasn't feeling 100% better...and I've had a few chest pains when lying down in certain positions. Went to my PCP's office to have an EKG done...and it turned out well....no unusual abnormalities. So, the specialist appeared to change her tune saying nothing to worry about, keep taking tylenol for the pain in the leg...and it and the bruising should go away soon. Course, was also able to spend a little more time with Heather today because of going home early.

3) Just a general feeling of uneasiness this week....and I can't exactly pin it on anything in particular...just a bunch of things all at once

4) I probably will NOT be at the Thursday night Pizza Party for the reunion. As Heather has been here this week and I've had to take care of a few other things, I am quite a bit behind on responding to Emails and reading my message boards...so, I could use an extra night at home to catch up (including rest...LOL) before getting further behind this weekend

. I will, thus, most-likely join the reunion sometime on Friday (see also #5).

5) I know some of us "jokingly" talked about a field trip to see my "girls" (Monte Carlos, that is). But, I am interested to know if anyone is _seriously_ interested in a side trip Friday or Sunday (or both...if interest is there). If so, I can arrange it with the people who own the garage where the girls are stored

. If people want to come out on Friday, I can give directions to meet somewhere around my home...then we can go see the "girls"...and then return to Roselle....

Hi Cort! Glad you are on the mend.

Understanding how painful that leg can be. After my cath....it looked like I fell down a flight of stairs doing the splits

Bruising was unbelievable!

You left out one important point. How did the conversion go? Are you converted? Hope they were able to fix you up!

Myself...going to be popping in and out for the first part of the reunion. Family illness, etc. Duty is a calling.

Oh...the conversion was done in June...only worked for a bit.

The ablation done last week went well.... The EKG done yesterday afternoon seems to prove that

. I'll know more on Nov 6...my next appt at Northwestern.

Sorry to hear about your family illness....

I'm going to attempt to get to Roselle sometime tomorrow (Friday morning). I doubt I'll make it by Friday breakfast....but, sometime soon after that I hope

Heh...I just hope I am able to meet up with some people Friday morning when I arrive ... (lol)

Eh, some of us couldn't get away for the Thursday festivities, and even had to go to the office for a while on Friday,

BUT I'LL BE THERE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FOR DINNER! ! !
