This brief, but brilliant, burst of inspiration came to me while browsing through a recipe magazine/bulk mail advertisement for some kind of cooking product or other....
1 TSP Mrs. Dash Salt Free Lemon Pepper seasoning blend
2 TBSP grated parmesan cheese
boneless, skinless chicken breast portions,
Resealable sandwich bag
Aluminum foil
Toss the lemon pepper seasoning and the cheese into the bag, add chicken and seal up then shake around until the chicken is well covered.
Remove chicken and place on a small sheet of foil, wrap it up then place on baking sheet or in baking pan.
Repeat with each piece then put it all in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 (or until cooked through)
Eat.
You could use other seasonings of course... I tried my NS chili powder just for fun but it was kinda bland.
I've got a creole seasoning mix recipe which might be interesting.
You can also get several blends from Mrs. Dash and McCormick....
It was almost too easy.
I made an "improv" rice dish to go along as a side. Good stuff. =)
