Been having bouts on insomnia for the last month or so, which is why I'm here on line at 3:30 AM - been up since about 1:30. I swam 1600 yds after work yesterday, so I should be tired. Stress I suppose. Maybe I need to try the Tylenol PM again.
Guess it's better to hang out here rather than E-bay where I would be bidding on stupid stuff that I don't need (and get myself in trouble with my wife...)

Mark, sometimes exercises pumps you so much that it excites you instead of making you tired enough to sleep. Can you do the biggest exercise early in the day instead of nighttime? You could try it. Good luck

How can you NOT sleep in that beautiful city of Sarasota? I love Sarasota - it sure got big over the years. Been going there since before you were born. Bee Ridge Rd used to be along cow pastures and palmettos. Is the naked beach still in existence? Think it might've been a spot on Siesta Key.

I've had the same thought about exercising in the evenings, but also have had problems sleeping on days when I didn't exercise. I really think that stress and perhaps too much caffine are the prime culprits.

I love living in Sarasota. I really enjoyed growing up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, but it's just too nice down here. Traded tornados and snow storms for hurricanes.

North Lido beach was once the nude beach. Thing of the past now with all the development.

Bee Ridge was two lanes when we moved here in '86. It's now six lanes, jammed in both directions. The intersection of Bee Ridge & Cattleman Rd, just before the I-75 exchange is the busiest intersection in the county.
