My SO's brother is a Skydiving instructor and his stories have always made me a little jealous. He is fully trained in tandem jumping (meaning he jumps with a novice strapped to him) and has been for awhile. He is in town this weekend and I have been hearing his stories again and visited the jump site and everyone looks so happy and excited.
I really want to jump with him but am worried about a couple of things. One is my constant a-fib and the other is what a hard landing (assuming there is one) would do to someone on coumadin. I am not yet ready this weekend (still a little chicken to jump out of a perfectly stable plane) but he will be back later this summer.
Anyone out there gone skydiving while on coumadin and/or with a-fib? I know I could ask my cardio but, if he had his way, I would walk and that's about it.
