Sinus and Cough

Saw my PCP this morning for the cough and the blood from my nose. She said I have a sinus infection, which I pretty much already knew. She did give me an antibiotic to take for 10 days so it should clear up pretty quickly now. If she would have seen me yesterday when I called, I could be better today....LOL I did ask her about the coumadin issue and she said that I am her only patient that is on coumadin and she is a little concerned when I call her with a bleeding issue. She said that she would do some more research so that she does not always tell me to go to the ER. Hopefully, she will. I really hate a doctor that is constantly telling me to go to ER for things that she can handle in her office. The ER is really gonna get sick of seeing me and if something major happened (knock wood) they are not gonna get to me fast enough. Thanks again all for your input. I see the orthopedic doctor today for the "bone bruise" and the swelling in my knee and hip pain. Hopefully, they are ready to replace my knee now instead of trying to fix it for the 5th time! LOL

glad you are finally on an antibiotic as you should have been some time ago, esp since you get pneumonia easily. Maybe you should find another dr who does NOT send you to the ER. that's very expensive and your dr ought to know how to take care of you. that's what she/he is for, after all. You thought about it? Glad to know you will be better tomorrow and the next day and the, well, you know. Blessins.........
