Has anyone had shoulder surgery with a mechanical valve? I just got my report from the 2nd MRI and it shows a tear in the superior labrum which has something to do with the bicep. It has gotten considerably worse in the last couple of weeks. I see the Dr. in Loyola next week. Is the surgery done with a local or a general? Thanks,
