I think I have the shingles:mad:.....no rash yet but all the symptoms.....I will try to see the doctor tomorrow........if it ain't one thing it's another....somebody pour me a drink and get me a pack of Marlboro Lights:mad::rolleyes::rolleyes::D....just kidding
 
Oh, no - did you catch it from your wife? - I remember a discussion at that time saying that it could be contagious if someon with shingles got near someone who had never had the chicken pox

I hope yours are the kind that don't linger around too long or as painful!

well, if it ain't one thing, it's...............

Hate hearing this. I had them once. A friend had them and hers were on her ear lobe. She was in lots of pain. Get on to the doctor ASAP tomorrow and let us know what the dx is. I am so sorry. Anxious.

Aw Tom, soo sorry to hear this news. Could have been stress from all the other stuff going on that caused our poor chimp to worry. Get thee to the doc asap. ((((( HUGS ))))) prayers. x
 
Gosh! Shingles! Those things are PAINFUL! I'm so sorry. It is possible that you were under a lot of stress with the skin issues. Stress is thought to be a factor sometimes. Get it treated and take it easy while you give yourself some well deserved R&R.
 
Nope - chimps are not allowed to get shingles.

I agree - call ASAP about your symptoms and a possible anti-viral.
 
Cooker, good friend, I believe Oaktree offered some good advice -- seeing if you can get the script to get meds going today, if possible. I am so sorry you have this latest trouble. Hope it won't hit you too hard.

Except that I'm sending you an Old Fashion Canadian Bear Hug.
Never had the chicken pox - been exposed to them 3 times and never had shingles - been exposed to those 4 times. I'm not worried on giving you a (((((((((((hug)))))))))))
Get some R & R and see the Doc ASAP

Yep....it has been one thing after another....though none have been / are major it can get old......I think DW might be ready to trade up....or at least see if she can buy an extended warranty on the old Chimpster:rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Alright this is enough cooker them are sooooooo painful
my dad had them back afew years,when he blistered he used
the aloe vera plant sap......seemed to help him alot.
K don't leave those banana peels laying around ,you dont need
any added injuries to your post files yet either.:(

I was able to see my soon defunct PCP early this morning and have started the antiviral drug?..I still have no rash and he said we could not be positive it was shingles but it would not hurt to take the drugs?.thanks for the well wishes.
