Shelby's surgery went wonderfully!

Thanks for all the prayers everybody! The surgeon said Shelby's surgey went wonderfully, and in fact she was finished with her in 6 hours or so instead of the expected 8 or 10! Praise the Lord!

We got to see her this afternoon, and she was sleeping peacefully, I guess they said they'll wake her up a little bit tonight and then either wake her tomorrow or the next day.

While I know it's still traumatic for her, I'm glad they've done it while she's this young. Hopefully she won't even remember it later in life.

That is great news. Here's to a uneventful recovery!

I know you are breathing sighs of relief that the surgery is over. Babies recover so quickly and I bet she will, too. Bless you all.
