Sharp darts in eye............

Hi everyone,

Lately I keep on getting really fast darting pain in my eyes. Its happened in both eyes, but in one eye at a time. It only lasts a split second. My eye shuts instantly but by the time my brain registers the 'ouch' its gone. Feels almost like a pin prick in my eye. Have had it every day, several times, for about a week.

Its no biggie, I just wondered has anyone else had this.

I recommend that you see an Opthalmologist ASAP (As Soon As Possible) to check out the insides of your eyes.

I agree with Al. You should probally have that checked out as soon as possible.
You don't want to have problems with your eye sight!!!

I've had those forever. Instant searing pain...like a stab, not a pin prick. Then nothing. Just one shot. I was told it was sinus related. Maybe 10 times a year. No rhyme or reason for mine.

However....it could also be some retinal disorder or something having to do with high blood pressure, so please do call an opthalmologist and ask them if you need to be seen. Don't wait. If it is not benign as I have been told mine are, then you could be sorry that you waited.
