Hi everyone

I am Cindy, posting for Shari. Surgery went very well. They had her up and sitting on side of bed by 4pm. (was out of surgery to recovery about 1130am). Little bit of nausea last night. Transfusion to get her blood pressure up where they wanted it. She was laughing, joking and coughing this morning getting ready to eat breakfast. They ended up replacing one valve, and repairing the other. Home Tuesday is a possibility, Wed. the target date, Thurs. if conditions dictate.

Hooray!

Hooray!

So glad to hear that Shari come through so well. Sending all best wishes for a smooth recovery. Look forward to hearing from her again here when she feels up to it. Thanks for posting for her and please give her our best wishes.

Thank you for updating us on Shari's progress. Tell her the hard part is behind her. New days with bright beginnings ahead. That truck usually does not get a second go round. Tell Shari to rest easy and know that her VR family is with her every step of the way. :)

Wonderful news. Up by 4pm after surgery that morning...! can't believe it. I was kept sedated for more than 24 hours and was only extubated at 9 am the next morning. Hope all is downhill for you from now on Shari.

Cindy posting for Shari again. Run into a couple minor snags, and as of today, Friday, the 5th, Shari is still in the hospital. She has gone back to afib again and had a cardio version today. Supposedly tomorrow is coming home day. Other than that, she is up and walking, and generally feeling pretty frisky. Hopefully she will be here to make the next post.

Hey y'all... I'm posting under my own power, flying solo at the moment. And, since I just took another loritab... I do mean what I said.

Loving this new forum look. As I feel able, I'll begin to relate some of the funnier stuff, as well as some of the unexpected stuff. It is definitely an experience.
