Shared Decision-Making

Mended Hearts surveyed their members last summer as to whether any had experienced "shared decision-making" with their cardiologists or surgeons. I thought my experience might be relevant so I responded, and lo and behold, I was interviewed, and I am in the winter issue of "Heartbeat" magazine, the quarterly published by Mended Hearts, Inc. In case anyone is interested, here is a link to the electronic copy of the magazine. (There is a mention of vr.org in the piece.) The feature to which I refer starts on page 16, and there are other stories that might well be of interest to our merry band of hearty folks.
